According to Korean news agency Yonhap, roughly the same number of 3D-TV (nearly 26,000) were sold in South Korea by Samsung from March to mid-June. Samsung TV went on sale in February 2010. According to the forecast of the company by June worldwide sales of 3D-TV was supposed to be 600 thousand devices.

In 2010, the company Samsung, Sony, LG, Sharp and Panasonic to mass-production of 3D-TV. Sony and Samsung also announced that they plan to sell before the end of the year approximately 2.5 million such devices. At the same time limiting factor for the acquisition of 3D-TV market is the lack of three-dimensional content.
